Community Clothing, Revenue Management, and Payouts
Communities have the ability to create and sell their own clothing, including custom shirts and pants, on Roblox. Any Robux earned from these sales will go directly to the community regardless of who created it.
A Community’s page features a Store tab, which shows you the most recently updated community items by default. You can also search for items created by communities in the Avatar Shop by community name.
Creating Community Clothing
To create community clothing, do the following:
-
- Click on the community’s Store tab
- Click on Create or manage community items
- Select the T-Shirt, Shirt or Pants option
- Once selected, click Choose File and select your image
- Enter a name for your clothing
- Click Upload
For more assistance with the creation process (and access to a link to the template image), please visit Creator Documentation.
Note: All clothing is subject to our Roblox Community Standards, and must meet our requirements regarding images.
Configuring Community Clothing
Community members with the "Configure Community Items" permission will be able to edit already existing community clothes, though they will still need a membership to put them up for sale.
To begin configuring a community item:
-
- Go to the community’s page and click on the Store tab.
- Select the item.
If you do not see the item you wish to edit, click See All Community Items at the bottom of the page. - On the item's page, click the three-dot in the upper right corner
- Select Configure.
Community Revenue Management
All raised money goes directly to the community, regardless of which member raised it.
The community owner can manage who can make purchases on behalf of the community by assigning their roles the Spend Community Funds permission. For more information on permissions and granting them, read Community Roles/Ranks and Permissions.
Community owners and members with the Spend Community Funds permission are also able to view the Revenue section of the Community Admin Page on How to Manage a Community. You can see how many Robux a community has earned or paid out to other users in the last day, week, month, or year as well as how they were obtained.
Community Revenue Payouts
Community owners are able to transfer community Robux to other members. Read Managing Payouts for more information about payments. Roblox will conduct periodic verification of funds to prevent fraud and abuse, at which time payout functionality may not be available.
