A video capture lets you record and save a short clip of key moments while you're playing within a Roblox experience. Unlike taking a screenshot, a video capture records motion, up to 30 seconds, giving you a dynamic way to remember or share exciting moments. Video capture is currently available for all users and supported on desktop and mobile devices. You can enable or disable this feature at any time through your in-experience controls. Currently, audio from voice chat or other in-experience sounds are not recorded in video captures.
Similar to screenshots, the in-experience UI is removed from the recorded video for a cleaner capture.

What devices will this feature support?
Video capture is currently available on desktop and mobile devices. We plan to expand support to more devices in the future.
When I share the video, will it be linkable back to the Roblox experience?
Yes, when you share a video, a link allowing your connections to join you in the experience will be included. However, the ability to share both the video and an invite link simultaneously may vary depending on the social platform you are using.
What happens to my videos if I delete the Roblox application from my device?
If you delete the Roblox application, all videos in your gallery will also be deleted. This is because the captures are stored within the Roblox application storage unless you have specifically saved them to your device's camera roll or the "Videos" folder on desktop.
