Roblox visitors located in the European Union (EU) may report content that they believe violates the law of EU member states using our Illegal Content Reporting Form. To file an illegal content report, please include as much detail as possible in your submission. If your report does not include sufficient information, we may not be able to take action.
If you’d like to report Community Standard or other Policy violations, or if you’re located outside of the EU, you can learn more about submitting a report here.
There are two ways EU users can access the illegal content reporting form to report content they believe violates EU law:
- Inside a Roblox experience by navigating to the "Report" tab in the experience menu
- Selecting the "Report" button associated with the content you'd like to report
To submit a report:
-
Select the link “Report Illegal Content under the EU Digital Services Act” at the bottom of the “Report” window.
-
Once there, enter the following information: name, email, type of content, exact location of the content you would like to report (e.g. URL), the country where you believe the content is illegal, and the reason why you believe it is illegal.
-
Confirm the information shared is accurate to the best of your knowledge
-
Hit “Submit”.
Content reported via the Illegal Content reporting form is first assessed against our Community Standards - if the content is incompatible with our platform-level policies, it is actioned accordingly. Any reported items that do not violate our Community Standards are then escalated to legal experts for assessment against relevant local laws. EU Trusted Flaggers accredited in accordance with the Digital Services Act may submit notices of Illegal Content via our EU Illegal Content reporting form — such reports will be prioritized by our team of moderators. In accordance with the Digital Services Act, those who report illegal content on our platform via our EU illegal content reporting form also have the right to appeal Roblox’s decision related to their report.
