Paid access in local currency allows creators to charge a one-time fee in local currency to access an experience on desktop, mobile, VR, and gaming consoles. Users who purchase access continue to have access to the experience even if the creator increases the price or disables paid access.
Purchasing
Users can only purchase paid access in local currency experiences on desktop and web. After successfully purchasing, the experience will be playable on all platforms.
Refund Policy
Users who purchase an experience in local currency can request a refund within 48 hours of their first purchase. You can do this by going to the page of the experience and selecting ‘Request Refund’ on desktop, web, and mobile. You can purchase the experience again but cannot refund. For more information or inquiries regarding refunds, contact Customer Support.
Please note that future activity that results in unauthorized charges or excessive refunds may lead to additional consequences such as the temporary suspension or permanent closure of your account.
Creators
Creators can now publish or switch their experiences to paid access experiences in local currency and can earn up to 70% of revenue they generate.
