Below are the minimum requirements needed to play Roblox. If you are having any issues, you may need to upgrade your computer or mobile device.
Check if your system’s firewall doesn’t restrict the Roblox services
- Find the firewall settings in the Windows Control Panel. You can access the Settings menu via clicking on the Windows icon available from the taskbar.
- Look for the System and Security option in Control Panel
- Open this setting and allow Roblox to the exception of unrestricted access
A security program (Antivirus) is causing issues
This part ensures that the Roblox programs and services are able to run correctly and your anti-virus hasn’t flagged Roblox (please rest assure, Roblox is virus free and does not contain any malware as occasionally). This can be different for each program, please check the following steps:

- Update your antivirus
- Sometimes all that you need to do is just make sure that you have the most recent version of your antivirus program. It's possible that they have already fixed the problem. If this doesn't work, then let's move on to the next possibility.
- Flag The Report as a False Positive
- If updating the software didn't help, then you'll need to flag the warning as a False Positive. You will need to set it as a permitted program for any antivirus or anti-malware application. This can be different for each program, open the security program and add Roblox application to the programs exceptions list.
- When searching for exclusions on Windows machines, Roblox files are stored in the following folder: C:\Users\(Your Windows Username)\AppData\Local\Roblox
- Update your antivirus
Check if connection Ports are open and functional with Router
At times, connection ports can be blocked and may restrict Roblox services which may affect your game-play and experience with Roblox, if this is the case please be aware, Roblox uses are dependent on the Operating System used. The port range is currently UDP 49152 - 65535, so keeping all these ports open should allow Roblox to connect to your router properly and it is also recommended that you get in touch with your internet service provider to get them opened or activated
Third-party applications
Look for any third-party program(s) causing connection or functionality hindrance with the client. For example, other programs such as auto-clickers, other game launchers
