Managing and spending your Roblox Credit

After redeeming a gift card, your balance is stored as Roblox Credit. 

Note: If you redeemed an Amazon Gift Card or a Party Packs Gift Card, your gift card value is Robux only. These cards are not redeemable for credits.

Tracking your balance

Roblox Credit can only be used in a web browser – it cannot be used in Roblox apps. After redeeming a gift card, the credit balance is generally only visible on purchasing or settings pages. It is not visible on every account page.

1. Open Roblox in a web browser.
2. Log into your account where the gift card was redeemed.
3. Navigate to the Gift Card redemption page or the Billing Settings page.
   1. Gift Card redemption: View your Available Credit directly under the Redeem button.
   2. Billing Settings: View your Balance next to the Roblox Credit line.

If you don't see the credit balance, then it means that the account currently has no Roblox Gift Card Credit redeemed onto it.

Using your Roblox credit

Roblox Credit can be used to purchase Robux if you have enough Roblox Credit in your account.

Buying Robux

1. Log in to your Roblox account where you redeemed a Roblox gift card
2. Go to http://roblox.com/redeem 
3. Select Get Robux
   1. Note: These options will pre-select the largest package you can purchase with your Credit balance. If you want to choose a different package, visit https://www.roblox.com/upgrades/robux once you have redeemed your Roblox credit.
4. Click Buy. A confirmation window will appear.

5. If you have remaining Roblox Credit, it will ask if you would like to purchase more Robux (if you have enough in your account).
   1. Clicking Buy will convert your remaining Roblox Credit to Robux
   2. Clicking Cancel will keep your Roblox Credit in your account until you are ready to spend it.

Converting small balances of Roblox Credit

If you have remaining credit that is not enough for a full package, look for the Get Robux or Convert Credit to Robux button on the redemption page to turn that remainder into Robux. Your Robux balance will be updated after refreshing your current page or navigating to a new page.

If you have enough Credit balance to purchase Robux, you will not see the Convert Credit to Robux button. Instead, you will see the Get Robux button. These options will pre-select the largest package you can purchase with your Credit balance. Alternatively, you can navigate to the Buy Robux page to pick a different package.

Why can't I see my credit in the Roblox app?

Gift card credit can only be viewed and used in a web browser, not within Roblox mobile apps.

Can I pay for part of a purchase with credit and the rest with a credit card?

No. You cannot combine or split payment types. If you do not have enough credit to pay for your entire purchase, you will be asked to use an alternate payment method.
