Creators that are eligible for our DevEx program can turn Earned Robux into cash.
What is Earned Robux?
Roblox allows Creators to earn Robux by selling or monetizing certain avatar items and experiences they create on the platform. Earned Robux only includes Robux you have earned, and does not include Robux that you have purchased. Dit omvat:
- Earnings from your listings in Marketplace or Creator Store
- Creator-beloningen
- In-experience purchases
- Ad revenue in the Publisher program
- Affiliate sales fees
Robux acquired in ways, such as through purchase or trading, are not eligible for DevEx. Dit omvat:
- het inwisselen van een cadeaubon of directe aankopen van Robux
- een maandelijkse toekenning van Robux als onderdeel van Premium-lidmaatschap
- Trading or resale of in-experience items
- Passes sold for template experiences with no legitimate user visits
- Violative content that was moderated
Please note: the determination of whether Robux are Earned Robux resides solely in Roblox’s discretion. Earned Robux must be in complete compliance with the Roblox Terms of Use, which include the Roblox Community Standards. For more information on Earning on Roblox, you can learn more at Earn on Roblox.
My DevEx request was approved, but I received a different amount than what is listed on the current exchange rate. Why?
The exchange rate for cash out may vary based on when you earned Robux, and is subject to change. Anyone with “Old Rate” earnings prior to September 5, 2025 will have DevEx funds pulled from their account at the “Old Rate” until all Robux are cleared of their "Old Rate". i.e. You can find more information here.
Do Group funds count as earned Robux?
Group payouts are considered earned if the Group funds are composed of bona fide sales. Please note, we check all sales and Group funds for validity. If you receive Group funds from a Group that earned the Robux fraudulently or against Roblox Terms of Use, then those will not count towards your Earned Robux Balance.
How do I know how many Earned Robux I have?
You can visit https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/devex to see an estimation of Earned Robux, also known as your Earned Robux Balance. It is an approximation of your earned amount, but is not a guarantee of payout or that all Earned Robux are eligible for DevEx. The DevEx team still reviews the eligible Earned Robux by reviewing sources accordingly.
Please note: there is up to a 72 hour delay between Earned Robux transfers/sales and the Earned Robux Balance reflecting the new values. If you would like to submit a DevEx request at a higher value than your Earned Robux Balance currently displays, you may do so.
