Requirements
It is recommended that you have the latest version of the Android OS on your device before downloading the Roblox Mobile App. To see the minimum requirements that your device needs in order for Roblox Mobile to be able to run, please click here.
Messages About Compatibility
If you receive the message that your device is not compatible or not recommended: The app is currently available on a multitude of Android devices and our engineers will be working to make the Roblox Mobile App available for as many devices as possible.
Purchasing Issues
If you made a purchase and received a valid Google Play Store receipt*, but your product was not applied to your account, please try the following:
- Check to make sure you are logged into the correct Roblox account that made the purchase
- If you are certain you are logged into the correct Roblox account, tap on the product again, but do not complete the purchase
- Tap the product once to display the purchase confirmation screen
- Then tap outside the purchase confirmation box to cancel the purchase
- The product should now be applied to your account
*Note: purchasing is not supported on Jailbroken/Rooted devices
General Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing issues other than those listed in the above section, please try doing the following:
- Close the app and re-open it
- Open your application manager or task manager. Keep in mind this is different from your app-drawer and the "My Apps" section of Google Play. Usually this can be found in your phone/tablet's Settings app, though its precise location can be different depending on the device that you are using. A Google search may be required to find it on your particular device
- Find Roblox in the list and tap it
- Tap the Force Stop button
- Return to the screen with the Roblox Mobile App icon and tap to reopen
- Reboot your device
- Power down your device by holding down the power button and tapping Power Off in the options that display.
- Once your device has been powered down for 30 seconds, press the power button to turn it back on again
- Reopen the app
- Reinstall the app
- Open Google Play on your device
- Tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the upper left corner
- Tap My Apps and Experiences
- Find Roblox in the list of apps and tap on it
- Tap Uninstall
- Stay on that page until the uninstall is complete. Once the process is done, tap the Install button
- Clear your Roblox data
- Open your application manager or task manager. Keep in mind this is different from your app drawer and the "My Apps" section of Google Play. Usually this can be found in your phone/tablet's Settings app, though its precise location can be different depending on the device that you are using. A Google search may be required to find it on your particular device
- Find Roblox in the list and tap it
- Tap the Clear Data button followed by OK on the pop-up message
- Return to the screen with the Roblox Mobile App icon and tap to reopen
- Check your date and time
- Open your Settings app
- Find your time and date settings. The location will vary from device to device so a Google search may be required to find it for your specific one
- Make sure the date and time are accurate. If they are not, update them and try Roblox again
