These Roblox Subscription Terms (“Subscription Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Subscription Products (“Subscription”) provided by Roblox Corporation and its affiliates (“Roblox”, “we”, or “us”).
By purchasing a Subscription, you indicate your understanding, acceptance, and agreement to these Subscription Terms. These Subscription Terms are a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “your”, or “you”) and Roblox. If you do not agree to any of the Subscription Terms, you may not access or use the Subscription.
These Subscription Terms supplement the Roblox Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”), which are incorporated by reference into these Subscription Terms. If there is any conflict between these Subscription Terms and the Terms of Use, these Subscription Terms will control regarding access to and use of the Subscription. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the same meaning given to them in the Terms of Use.
General
Eligibility: The Subscription are provided only to individuals for their personal, non-commercial use. Only residents of the countries where we offer the Subscription are eligible to purchase a Subscription.
Age Limitation: You must be 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence) to purchase a Subscription. If you are under 18 (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence), you need your parent or legal guardian to purchase the Subscription for you.
Subscription Benefits
You can find a description of each Subscription and its associated benefits on our website. Roblox reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to update the Subscription benefits at any time and for any reason. From time to time, Roblox may also provide additional benefits such as a bonus benefit. Such bonus benefits are not guaranteed, may not be available to all Users, and may be changed from month to month, or discontinued, entirely at Roblox’s discretion.Subscription Fees and Payment
Automatic Renewal: Your Subscription will automatically renew at the start of every billing period and will continue indefinitely until you cancel it.
Subscription Fees: When you purchase a Subscription, you must pay the fees for the selected Subscription (“Subscription Fees”). Subscription Fees exclude any applicable taxes, unless otherwise required by applicable law or otherwise indicated at the time of purchase. If we are required by applicable law, we will charge and collect taxes from you for the Subscription. Depending on your jurisdiction and your banking provider, you may be charged additional fees (e.g., a foreign transaction fee) when you purchase a Subscription. Subscription Fees may vary by country or region, and we reserve the right to update your Subscription Fee if you change your country of residence.
We have the right to change the Subscription Fees or add new fees at any time after giving you reasonable notice. Changes to the Subscription Fees will take effect on your next billing date, unless otherwise stated. If you don’t agree to the price change, you must cancel your Subscription before the price change takes effect. By continuing to use the Subscription, you indicate that you accept the new recurring Subscription Fee.
Payment: At the time you purchase a Subscription, you will be asked to select a payment method. By providing Roblox with this payment information, you represent that you are an adult who is authorized to use the payment method you select and that any payment information you provide is accurate. By purchasing a Subscription, you authorize Roblox or a designated third-party payment provider to collect and use your payment information for payment of the Subscription Fees and to automatically charge the Subscription Fee to the selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel the Subscription.
Refunds, Transfers, and Withdrawals: Subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to waive any statutory rights that may otherwise entitle you to a refund, such as any right to withdraw or “cooling off” period that may be available after your initial purchase (for example, a 14-day period for those in the European Union). To the extent not waivable, such rights may continue to apply and you can withdraw using the Cancellation information below.
Cancellations
You can cancel your Subscription at any time through the platform on which you purchased the Subscription by following the instructions here. You must cancel your Subscription before your next billing date for your Subscription not to auto renew and for you not to be charged the Subscription Fee for the next billing period. If you cancel your Subscription, unless otherwise indicated, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to and use of your Subscription for the period of time for which you have already paid. When your Subscription ends, you will no longer have access to the Subscription or their associated benefits. You can resubscribe to the Subscription at the then current Subscription Fees pricing.
Termination and Suspension
Roblox reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate your access to the Subscription (or any portion thereof) at any time. Causes for suspension or termination include, but are not limited to, (i) breaches or violations of these Subscription Terms; (ii) a request by you; (iii) non-payment of any Subscription Fees owed by you; (iv) unexpected technical or security issues or problems with the Service or Subscription; or (v) lawful requests by law enforcement or other government agencies. Dispute Resolution
IMPORTANT: THE TERMS OF USE CONTAIN BINDING MANDATORY INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION, ARBITRATION, AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER PROVISIONS. THE ARBITRATION AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER PROVISIONS APPLY IF YOU RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES. ANY DISPUTE OR CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE SUBSCRIPTION TERMS IS SUBJECT TO THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROVISIONS IN THE TERMS OF USE.
Authorized Use
You agree not to use the Subscription in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, or deceptive to Roblox or other users of Roblox Services.
You understand, acknowledge, and agree that you are responsible for the security of your Subscription. You agree to notify Roblox immediately if you have reason to believe there was any unauthorized use of your Subscription or any other breach of security (and to provide any documented evidence if requested). Roblox will not be liable for any loss that you may incur resulting from your actions or failure to act, such as someone else using your Subscription, either with or without your knowledge.
You may not purchase a Subscription by means of any mechanism or technology that conceals your actual geo-location or provides incorrect details of your location (for example, a virtual private network (VPN)).
Change in Subscription Terms
We reserve the right to change these Subscription Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. If we make changes to these Subscription Terms, we will post the most current version of the Subscription Terms to our website and will update the Effective Date, and provide you with notice if we deem it necessary or appropriate to do so. If you do not accept and agree to the changes, you may cancel your Subscription. By continuing to use the Subscription, you indicate your acceptance to any updated Subscription Terms.
Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits Roblox’s ability to make changes or remove, limit, restrict, or otherwise discontinue the Subscription in any territory or region, including if required to comply with applicable law, address a material security risk, or avoid a substantial economic or material technical burden. We will give you reasonable notice if we decide to remove, significantly limit, restrict, or otherwise discontinue the Subscription or any portion of the Subscription in any territory or region.
Notice
Any notices Roblox delivers to you will be done electronically (i) by email to the last email address provided by you; or (ii) by posting a notice on or within the Services; or (iii) any other method of notice deemed appropriate in Roblox’s sole discretion. You agree to provide and maintain accurate, current and complete information, including your contact information for notices and other communications from us.
