At this time, there is not a way to get Robux back once you have made a purchase. This includes accidental purchases, as well as lost and unused items from Avatar Shop and Experiences. We recommend that you read the item's description to understand what the item is like and use our Try On feature before completing your purchase.
Try On Feature
Many items in the Avatar Shop let you try them on your avatar before spending your hard-earned Robux. To use the Try On feature, follow the steps below. Once you've found the item you're looking for, you can quickly try it on to see how great you'd look when you hang out with friends on your next Roblox adventure!
Web Browser
- Click on Avatar Shop located in the gray bar at the top.
- Find the item you're looking for. Select the item you want to try on.
- Click the Try On button. You can view the item on your avatar in 3D or 2D.
- Click the Take Off if you want to take the item off of your avatar.
Mobile App
- Tap on your Avatar icon in the middle or 3 dots on the right side.
- Tap the Shop icon or Catalog icon.
- Find the item you're looking for and tap on the item you want to try on.
- Your avatar will load with the item on.
- Tap the item again to remove it from your avatar.
Xbox
- Go to Avatar.
- Press Y button (Avatar Editor).
- Go to Shop.
- Press A button on the item you want to try on.
- Your avatar will load with the item on.
- Press A button again to remove the item from your avatar.
- Press Y button (Open Details) to view the item's description.
Please note that Animation packages can also be previewed similarly. While you can't see it on your character, you can see how the animations change how your avatar will move.
Accidental Purchases
As a helpful feature to prevent accidental purchases, Roblox has a pop-up window asking you to confirm your selection before buying any items from the Avatar Shop and Experiences.
- When you select the Buy button, you will see a pop-up message.
- The pop-up window shows the item you're looking to purchase, the item's price and your Robux balance you'll have after the purchase.
- Review the purchase confirmation window and decide if you want to finish buying the item.
- Select Buy Now if you would like to purchase the item.
- As a reminder, we will not be able to refund your items once you buy.
Do I Get a Refund for Purchased Items?
In general, we are not able to offer a refund for items purchased within an experience. All purchases with Robux requires users to click on a confirmation box as a precaution against making accidental purchases and many experiences also have a confirmation window for purchases with their in-experience's currency.
Please keep in mind that items that are moderated or removed from access by the creator may not be eligible for refund.
