Logging In with a One-Time Code

A one-time code allows you to log in without entering your username and password. Right now, one-time codes are only available to some users.

Note: To use this feature, you must have a verified email address on your account. You can go to your Account Info page to add and verify your email address. You can read this help article on how to verify the account email address.

How to log in with a one-time code

1. Press the Email Me a One-Time Code button on the login page.
2. Enter the email address that is verified on your account. We will email you a six-digit one-time code.
3. Enter the one-time code to log in (if your email is verified on multiple accounts, you can choose one).

I didn’t receive a one-time code

Try these steps if you didn’t receive an email containing one-time code.

• Check your spam/junk folder.
• Press the Resend button, then check your inbox again.
• Make sure you entered your email address exactly as it is on your account.
• Make sure that your email address is verified. You can read this help article on how to verify the account email address.

If none of these steps work, please log in with your password. You may need to wait a while before one-time codes work again for your email.

I received a one-time code but it doesn’t work

Try these steps if your one-time code doesn’t work.

1. Make sure that you enter the one-time code on the same device you requested it from.
2. Press the Resend button and try again with a new code.

Safety tips

• Never share a one-time code with anyone. Roblox will never contact you to ask for it.
• If you receive an email containing a one-time code without requesting it, you can safely ignore it.
• If you receive multiple unwanted emails containing One-Time Codes, we strongly advise you to change the email on your account and set up 2-Step Verification by Authenticator App.
